An interesting and somewhat scary tale has hit the headlines regarding holidaymakers on a safari in
It seems that their vehicle overturned whilst on a guided safari and as they waited for help to arrive, a pride of 5 lions slowly circled their stricken Land Rover for around 40 minutes. Clearly, the outcome of this could have been a lot worse than it actually was.
Of course accidents will happen but it is crucial to remember when considering such trips that safety is paramount. Common sense should prevail and all reasonable measures should be taken to avoid the worst happening. Always ensure that trips are booked with a reputable company and enquire regarding their safety record and procedures.
The holidaymakers are now taking legal action in respect of their ordeal and the full story can be read here.
